My grumpy dark elf arabian/desert pirate character Naji. He was originally designed for me by a friend for a world she was creating back in 2012. She drew a headshot and simple outfit reference, and I drew the sketch of this around that time. Then I went back over it, defining things a bit in 2014, and then got back to it in 2018 when I joined an amazing DnD group and decided I would use him as my character. So I cleaned up the lines, redesigned details, and finally shaded it!
I made him a sword bard and he is the least support bard I've seen. lol Sadly after the game took a break at the end of an arc where half the party was captured (with my opportunist pirate deceiving the enemy into thinking he was there to turn them in), the DM got busy so the game was canceled so I never got to find out what would have happened. Thankfully some of the other amazing players took up the mantle of DM and these last two and a half years of weekly DnD (or boardgames when people are busy or need break) have been the best. I need to completely finish the art for those characters so I can get those posted too. lol
There are two other art of Naji that I am also working on. One from 2013, which is a gladiator version of him (which just needs shading), and one I started partway through the campaign inspired by happenings in it.
I'm a dumb and accidentally dropped something in this tab without saving, so a lot of the description I wrote out was lost...
